The 2021 TSPLOST Resurfacing will resume on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Resurfacing will take place on Harris St. (from Irene Kidd Pwy. to East Washington Ave), We will continue to update residents on a weekly basis on the next street that will be resurfaced. Throughout construction, traffic control will be provided to ensure safety for motorists and pedestrians.

On May 24, 2022, voters in East Point, Hapeville and College Park will decide if they want to fund water and sewage infrastructure improvements through collection of a one cent sales tax known as the MOST or Municipal Option Sales Tax. If approved by voters, the MOST would generate funding in East Point over a five-year period for water and sewer improvements. Early voting begins May 2-20, 2022, at the East Point Library. If approved by voters, the tax would be imposed starting September 1, 2022. For questions about the MOST Special Election, please email water_sewer@eastpointcity.org.
