TSPLOST Project, Ale Circle Realignment
Construction activities in support of TSPLOST Project, Ale Circle Realignment has begun. The limits of the project are along Washington Rd from the Intersection at Camp Creek Pkwy to Victoria Circle. Preliminary activities will only include locating of utilities, surveying and staking, as well as marking of construction layout. Active construction of the project including clearing of trees and grading the land will begin shortly after and further communication will be provided.
The purpose of the project is to improve the operations of the intersection of Ale Circle at Washington Rd and Camp Creek Pkwy at Washington Rd. The project consists of widening along the west side of Washington Rd realigning Ale Circle north approximately 200 ft. The improvements will improve operations by providing an additional south-bound through lane and adding a dedicated south-bound right-turn lane on Washington Rd.
The City has contracted Construction 57, Inc for construction of this project. All work for this project will be completed within the City of East Point’s Right-of-Way and previously acquired easements. Throughout construction, traffic control will be provided to ensure safety for motorists and pedestrians.
