The Human Resources Department strives to ensure that City of East Point salaries are competitive. The department annually conducts salary surveys on various positions as a means to monitor the competitiveness of the City’s pay plan. The mission of the Human Resource Department is to support the City by developing and implementing high quality, state-of-the art personnel programs, thereby allowing employees to focus their efforts on providing East Point citizens services that enhance their quality of life. We provide comprehensive human resources services to City employees and the public by enhancing the overall climate and quality of work life. We seek to provide solutions to workplace issues that support and optimize the operating principles of the City.
