Nearly 6,000 people were in attendance for East Point’s last Wednesday Wind Down of the year on Aug 22, 2018. Concert goers enjoyed the sounds of Q. Parker and Daron Jones of 112, Bobby V, Gritz & Jelly Butter, and The Soul Cartel. V-103’s Wanda Smith and WAOK’s Derrick Boazman were the hosts. Actor, Singer and East Point resident, T.C. Carson, made a special appearance thanking fans for supporting the hit 90’s TV show “Living Single” for its 25th anniversary. The concert went out with a bang as a five minute fireworks show lit up the sky. This event was created by East Point Councilwoman Sharon Shropshire who plans to host it again in East Point next year.
