MTB Atlanta is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that our public lands offer fun, challenging, and sustainable trails for all mountain bikers & hikers. Their mission is to create, enhance, and protect great mountain biking experiences in the southeast. MTB Atlanta partnered with the City of East Point to design, build, and help maintain the natural surface trails in the park. The new 1.5 mile intermediate loop trail cost MTB Atlanta approximately $10,000 with over 400 build hours of service that included numerous public build and clean-up days and a new bridge for the previously built inner loop beginner trail.
