The Willingham Corridor Improvement Study will help develop a future vision for this unique corridor that connects the cities of College Park, East Point and Hapeville, provides access to and from these cities as well as Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and provides access to the headwaters of the Flint River. The study will explore ideas and solutions related to redevelopment, economic development, placemaking, public art, bicycle and pedestrian amenities and green infrastructure.

Thank you to those that attended our virtual public meeting held on October 13th at 6:00 PM via Zoom. It was great to see so many from the community show up and participate. During this meeting, attendees received an update on the project and analysis completed to date. Following the presentation, attendees participated in three virtual breakout rooms where they explored possibilities for future development, transportation improvements, and greenspace. The overview presentation is provided below. We will post a recording of the meeting here at a later date. Check back often for updates and information on upcoming meetings! We look forward to your continued engagement!
