The City of East Point Hosts Joint Learning Committee Meeting

On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, The City of East Point hosted its 2018 Joint Learning Committee (JLC) Meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn in East Point. This meeting was led by Mayor Deana Holiday Ingraham who spoke to City staff members and principals from several East Point schools about the JLC’s focus areas. The JLC focuses on extended learning, workforce development, youth engagement, and parent engagement. Fulton County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Rose, also spoke about the school systems effort towards improving schools in East Point and Fulton County. Others who were in attendance include:
