Overview
Currently the East Point Police Department has four separate divisions: 
  • The Field Operations Division
    The Field Operations Division responsible for the uniformed patrol force of the City. Officers patrol the City streets, answer calls for service, and work with the community to solve problems.
  • The Criminal Investigations Division
    The Criminal Investigations Division consists of investigative units that are primarily responsible for the follow-up investigation of crimes committed against persons or property in the City of East Point.
  • The Support Services Division
    The Support Services Division provides administrative and logistical support to all divisions and units in the East Point Police Department.
  • Community Services Division
    This division has many responsibilities when it comes to dealing with the public.

  • Code Enforcement Officers.
  • Crime Scene Technicians and Record Room Employees.
  • Communication Operators and Dispatchers.
