Taste of East Point and the South Metro Area (formerly the East Point Spring Fling):
Spring 2017

This event is all about giving attendees a "taste" of the food, art and music of East Point and the South Metro Area. The event features a car show, live music on stage, a variety food & merchandise vendors, beer and wine, artist and community booths and much more! The event is located in the Downtown East Point Commons, 2757 East Point St.(across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station). Friday Night Flicks Outdoor Movie Series: Select Fridays in the Fall
Pre-movie activities begin about an hour before dusk, the movies are shown at dusk. The movies are held in the Downtown Commons Area, 2757 East Point Street—Across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station. Grab dinner to-go at one of our great Downtown restaurants and then bring your lawn chairs or blankets out to watch a movie with friends and family on the grassy Commons Area. Concessions like fresh popped popcorn, candy and sodas are available for sale. East Point Food Truck Court: Weekly Wednesdays from from 4-7pm - All Year Long!
A variety of Food Trucks from the Atlanta Metro Area come and participate throughout the year in Downtown East Point at Fire Station #1, 2757 East Point Street—next to East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station (takes place right next to the East Point Farmers Market). Grab dinner to-go or stick around and chat with fellow neighbors while you enjoy delicious food from some of best Food Trucks in the area! East Point Farmer's Market: Weekly Wednesdays from 4-7pm - All Year Long!
Located at Fire Station #1, 2757 East Point Street—Across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station. All Year Indoor/Outdoor Market. Come purchase great local, seasonal produce, hormone free beef and pork, homemade baked goods, fresh breads, locally roasted coffee, a variety of teas, infused olive oils, organic granola and nut mixes, essential oils, homemade soaps, natural body products, farm fresh eggs, honey, jellies/jams and much more! Unique, handmade art and jewelry, wood churned bowls, crocheted items, pottery and more are also available on select dates throughout the year. Destination East Point Fall Festival:  Saturday, October 8th, from 1-7pm 
Join us in the heart of Downtown East Point at the annual Destination East Point Fall Festival! Part small town harvest fair and part interactive circus, the festival is a great event for all ages. The event is held in the Downtown Commons Area, 2757 East Point Street—across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station. East Point Holiday Markets: Weekly Wednesdays in November and December from 4-7pm   
Located at Fire Station #1, 2757 East Point Street—Across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station. Indoor/Outdoor Market. Come purchase food items for those guests coming into town and get your gift list taken care of for the holidays! Everything from unique, handmade art and jewelry, to natural body products, wood churned bowls to seasonal produce, baked goods, fresh breads, fresh farm eggs, cheese and much more! July 4th Salute to the Red, White & Blue Celebration, Carnival & Fireworks Show! 
Downtown Commons, 2757 East Point St., Free Admission (Carnival costs extra). Live Stage Entertainment, Midway rides & games, food, adult beverages, merchandise vendors, face painting and more!
